Kurvin Sanomat

Art Direction and Newspaper Design.

Journalist Tuija Siltamäki and photographer Touko Hujanen have been documenting and writing articles for years on social issues, such as drug politics and homelessness, of the Kurvi neighborhood of Helsinki. From the vast material of their long-term research, we put together a newspaper of one issue. The edition of 400 copies was distributed for free in the Kurvi area in December 2025.

The design was granted a silver award at Vuoden Huiput – Best of Finnish Advertising and Design.
