Vrouw Marian viimeinen matka (The last journey of Vrouw Maria)

Book design. The book is about the Dutch merchant ship Vrouw Maria from the 18th century that sunk in the Baltic sea and was just recently discovered. The graphic elements used in the design are from nautical maps of the era and the typeface of the headlines is based on the typography in Atlas Historique from 1720 by Henri Abraham Chatelain.
